A native port of the 1998 N64 game on HarbourMasters' libultraship engine, not an emulator. It needs
your own retail dump, then runs the game at higher resolution with mod and language-pack support.
¶ Compatibility
- Dumps: US 1.0, US 1.1, Japan and PAL all work.
- Format:
.z64. An.n64file has to be byte-swapped first. - Romhacks: only the US 1.0 dump is supported as a base, because that is what Banjo's Backpack
patches against. Use US 1.0 if you want romhacks. - Language packs: a second region's dump can be added as a language pack, so PAL adds UK,
French and German and the Japanese dump adds Japanese. - Builds: Windows, Linux, macOS.
