A static recompilation of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for Windows x64, built on PortableKit and PSPRecomp. The PSP executable is translated ahead of time, so the game runs as a native program with no emulator, and a launcher handles video, audio, controls, saves, mods and LAN play.
.iso (not CSO). Other regions and revisions are rejected.🥉 Bronze. Version 0.1.5-alpha is a Windows x64 build, which sets the Bronze floor. It is unusually complete for an alpha: the launcher exposes the video, audio, controller, save, mod and cheat pages a recomp is expected to have, the ISO can be preseeded so the setup wizard never appears, and it runs well on both Windows and Proton on Linux. Promote to Silver when a Linux build ships, and to Gold when upstream reaches 1.0.
FreedomUniteNative.exe --install <image> [--in-place], which verifies the release, prepares the game data and writes settings.ini. After that, starting the executable goes straight to the game; the setup screen only returns when the image moves.powershell.exe is a stub, so on Linux run FreedomUniteNative.exe directly with the environment the wrapper sets. The launcher itself is still the place for setup, settings and mod management on Windows.
